A leather covered document box with a domed lid and its iron lift handle.  Has old repairs to hinges on back.  Leather has gilt designs and tooling with some edge splits and missing areas from use and age.  The front lock tongue is off but present with it.  Measures 14” x 8” x6” high.  A nice size as could have been used by an Officer in the French & Indian War to Rev.
