An outstanding early 18th century American Indian Effigy small medicine ladle.  It is finely carved with a slender handle and delicate “Loon” Bird effigy at the end of the handle.  The ladle is surprisingly in excellent condition surviving a long life, and looks like black walnut.  It is 6 1/4” long x 2 1/4” wide, with the thin effigy 1 1/2” long.  No issues.  circa. 1700 - 1750.  ex. The William DuPont collection.  $2,750.   (plus $20 shipping; optional insurance: $3 per $100 coverage) - Shipping outside the contiguous 48 states is to use 3rd party shipping. (TR-517)
